Terra Cargo

What is it for?

Ferry line management system designed for companies transporting cargo or providing forwarding services using ferry routes, where a truck needs to carry cargo by sea. In this case, using the Terra Cargo system, the necessary ferries are booked or ordered, which can be tracked within the system, and orders are sent directly to the ferry line systems integrated with Terra Cargo.

How does it work?

The system operates via a web browser, making it accessible from anywhere. It seamlessly integrates with our other product, Terra Logistics, so transport and forwarding management tasks can be viewed in one place and in real time. Terra Cargo can function independently or as an additional module within the transport management system.

For ferry management, there is a client zone where the customer can submit their own order for cargo transportation, specifying the origin and destination of the cargo. Based on the provided information, the order is created within the system.

Benefit

This functionality is designed to simplify ferry ticket booking and information management, especially when the route includes waterway segments. When optimizing a route, the most favorable path to the final destination is planned, which often involves traveling over water. Therefore, it’s necessary to find and reserve ferries to transport vehicles with cargo. Terra Cargo allows you to book or order ferries directly from the system and create integrations with ferry lines used by your company.

INTEGRATIONS

Integrations with other ferry line management systems, transport tracking systems, and similar solutions used within the company can be created in the Terra Cargo system. If integration is possible from the other side, the system can be connected accordingly. Currently completed integrations include:
